Assignments

I have been able to complete the Observation Assignment for this class but I am struggling with the Content paper. My topic is based on comparing children today to children from Colonial America. I have found numerous secondary sources but no such luck with primary sources. I hope everyone is doing well with their assignments. If you come across any information that might help me out, let me know. See you all this weekend.

Weekend 1 for Amesbury Cohort

The first weekend we did lots of fun things.  We learned about each other's backgrounds and cultural beings.  It was an excellent way to learn more about one another.  This weekend was the first time we used the computer lab and we used tons of new software and websites.  We started Sunday morning with a geocache adventure which allowed us to enjoy the beautiful weather.  We also examined the State frameworks, Multiple Intelligences when teaching S.S. to students, and Tarry Lindquist's book, Seeing the Whole Through Social Studies.  Lastly, we were able to pick our topics for our Lesson Plan Assignment.  Thanks to the use of computer we were able to find lots of useful information.
